This study aims to formulates specific strategis for religious teachers, which include that is strengthening the religious values based curriculum, active pedagogical approaches to critical thinking, and instilling internal character in students, as preventive measures against hoaxes and cyberbullying in social media. The background of the problem highlights that digital discruption pleaces students (digital natives) at high risk of the exposure to negative information, which is exacerbated by the decline of religious ethics in online interactions. Therefore, the role of religious Teachers is crucial in integrating moral values into digital literacy. This study uses Literature Review Method to identify the role of Religious Teachers as educators, fasilitators, and role models, as well as to design a strategic model of digital literacy based on religious teachings. This study concludes that there are three most effective strategies for religious teachers that is Curriculum strengthening, which involves incorporating social media fiqh and tabayyun (clarification) principles into religious education, Active Pedagogical Approach, which involves applying problem-based learning and real-life hoax case studies to hone students’ critical thinking skills, Character Building, emphasizing the concepts of muraqabah (awareness of being watched by God) and akhlaq karimah (good morals)as a student’s internal moral fortress. As a follow-up, this study the development of integrated Religious Education teaching modules and the implementation of on going training for teachers to improve their competence in managing digital ethics issues.
