This research aims to evaluate the suitability of the material presentation in the Al-‘Arabiyyatu al-Syâmilatu textbook, used as an Arabic learning module for 8th-grade students at SMPIT Lukman al-Hakim Banguntapan, Yogyakarta. This evaluation is based on the four standard aspects of teaching material suitability according to the Indonesian National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a documentary data collection technique. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis guided by BSNP criteria. The research findings indicate that the Al-‘Arabiyyatu al-Syâmilatu textbook is generally deemed suitable as a teaching material because it presents three language skills sequentially: from easy to difficult, simple to complex, and general to specific. However, significant weaknesses were found that require immediate revision, particularly in the aspect of completeness of presentation support (such as the absence of a glossary, foreword, and bibliography) and the inconsistency of material presentation techniques (such as placing mufradat at the end of the chapter and non-uniform application of muhadatsah). These weaknesses potentially hinder the optimization of the students’ learning process.
