Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategic vision for developing Arabic language
education in Islamic institutes in Indonesia through the integration of technology
and digital media, with a particular focus on the experience of Bina Qurani Islamic
Boarding School in Bogor as an innovative model that harmonizes educational
authenticity and Qur’anic values on one hand, and the demands of the digital era
on the other. The research employs a descriptive-analytical method to analyze the
theoretical concepts of strategic planning in education and their application in the
context of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers within the Indonesian
educational environment.
The findings indicate that Arabic language education in Islamic institutes faces
intertwined challenges related to the absence of a comprehensive institutional
vision, insufficient technical training for teachers, and the lack of unified
educational platforms. Consequently, the study proposes an integrated strategic
model built upon three main pillars: the formulation of institutional policy, the
development of digital learning platforms, and the empowerment of teachers to
utilize interactive media effectively.
The experience of Bina Qurani Institute represents a promising model that can be
emulated in advancing Arabic language education in contemporary Islamic
institutions, as it achieves a balanced integration between technology and values,
and between language and identity.
